When you go out for shopping you tend to buy things as per your need. Same goes for the products we use and the remedies we try on our skin. We must use them according to our skin type ad what it actually needs.
There are products out there as per our skin needs but many of us don't really know our skin type.
So.. let's discuss about the skin types and how to take care of it.

SKIN TYPES
There are 5 basic skin types..
- normal skin
- oily skin
- dry skin
- combination skin
- sensitive skin
1. Normal skin - it basically means a well balanced skin type which might be a bit oily on the T-zone but other than that the sebum & moisture is balanced overall. The skin is neither too oily nor too dry.
2. Oily skin - This skin type has an overproduction of sebum (sebum is an oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands) which causes that grease. Although this sebum might feel too oily but it is not bad for our skin as it protects our skin and keeps it moisturized.
3. Dry skin - Skin that looks a bit dull or feels tight and rough most of the time. It produced very less amount of sebum and hence feels "dry". The lack of sebum also causes lack of moisture and there is no natural protection for this skin type against external problems.
4. Combination skin - While some areas may feel dry the other areas specifically the T- zone might get oily. It is mainly a combination of oily and dry skin. It might need different care in different areas.
5. Sensitive skin - Skin that gets irritated easily is sensitive skin. Redness, itching, rashes etc.. can be the reaction of sensitive skin if it reacts bad to anything.

DeleteThis was so helpful!! I have quite bad acne, I have very large pores on my cheeks and they are super oily but my forehead and chin are unbelievably dry and are constantly flaking. It is such a horrible mess haha. I recently started using this serum that helps reduce and balance sebum and it has helped so much so now I just need a miracle product for the dry part of my face xx
