5 easy tips for time management

We often face some difficulties when it comes to getting everything done on time or on a specific time given & often lead to a messed up conclusion.

Be it stuff related to studies, work, or any other tasks we need to get done..
Time management is the key to getting things done on time without any mess caused.

It may sound difficult but trust me.. it's really helpful and you must give it a try!

TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS

1. DON'T TRY TO DO TOO MUCH

There are 24 hours in a day!  So, you must have enough time to get everything you want done in that time.
Look at it like this, you set an aim of doing 7 tasks in a day that would take about 8 hours to finish, but, you just have 5 hours to do it..  does this make any sense? NO
Split your work and try to aim for those things that are more important and can be done in those 5 hours rather than just creating a mess in your mind as well as your work.

2. SAY NO TO RUSH

"OMG! there is so much to do and time is running out.. "
This is a classic situation for us all. In the end all we do is rush things and get them done.
Mostly all those things that we do in a rush leave us no where.
You should make it a habit to firstly go for those tasks that are more important or that need to be done within a deadline rather than doing those tasks that are small, less important and can be done later.

3. FIND OUT HOW MUCH TIME YOU ACTUALLY HAVE

There are 24 hours in a day but, how much of that time can you dedicate to your work?
 For example..
24 hours in a day - 8 hours of sleep - 6 to 7 hours of work (school, college, office, house work  ) - some free time = leaves you with 7 hours of whatever you aim for doing

Calculate that before you start listing the tasks so that it will give you an idea of how much of your work can be done within this time.

4. DON'T MAKE A DAILY SCHEDULE OR A DAILY ROUTINE (MOST IMPORTANT)

I know many experts suggest that you must stick to a daily routine.
 Honestly.. I don't thinks that's a good idea.

If you set a daily routine of, at what time you will wake up and go to sleep, when will you come home , have food, work, and everything.. Is it going to happen the same way everyday? NO!!
You are not a robot. There is no fix time of when you feel hungry or when you sleep or when will you take a bath or ALMOST EVERYTHING! .. all these things are up to you.
I have set routines for like 1000 times and got nothing done as I planned.  If you want to give this a try you can but I personally find no good things to say about setting a daily routine.

5. SOLUTION TO THE 4TH POINT

Set your tasks everyday. Yes! this is the easiest way to manage your time, your work, your study goals or any tasks you need to get managed.
Just do what I said in the 3rd point, then once you know how much time you have, make a list of the tasks you need to get done in that day and make sure to focus on the important tasks first.
I set my tasks every morning while having breakfast you can either set it at night for the next day or early morning .

  2. Great advice! I think it's so important to be realistic about what we are committing to. Sure, you could probably push and rush yourself through 20 things, but they won't be done that well. However, if you commit to 10 you can do them properly!
